To create a memorable and distinctive optical store, we designed a unique, multifunctional wooden element that serves as both storage and a display for customers and passers-by. This timber feature not only establishes the store’s character but also accentuates its narrow, elongated layout, effectively dividing the customer area from the back office—no additional display fixtures are needed.

Strategically placed horizontal display shelves are enhanced by a carefully curated lighting and material scheme, drawing attention to the products while creating a welcoming ambiance. A custom-made vertical bamboo wall, specially crafted for this project, adds a warm, organic touch, marking its first application here. Floors, wall finishes, lighting, and furniture have been preserved to harmonise with the new design, creating a cohesive and inviting environment that leaves a lasting impression.
